Alright, Alright, Alright! What's up everyone, welcome back to my channel. This gig log wraps up prom season with a bang!!!! My whole crew poured way too many hours into this event and in the end I could not be happier the way it turned out. Things to look back on: From idea to design to creation the set stayed almost perfect. At any given time there were about 400-500 students in the crowd and the rest were wandering around the venue, as the venue was very very big. All of the lighting and special effects worked as planned and nothing was cut short. We did have to point the CO2 jets away from the large crystal chandelier though. Lessons learned: Hire 2 or 3 more crew for set up and strike lol. Program lighting in 3D in advance. Find a way to contain the students better so they would have more energy all crammed together. What's goin' on everybody! This was the last filmed dance of my homecoming season and did we have a blast doing it! Shadow Ridge has been an awesome client for us and we will continue to pump out next set ups with them! Quick shout out to Sims Bell for correctly guessing my DJ controller contest on the community page. I recently upgraded from the DDJ-SR to a pair of Technics 1210 Turntables and a DJM-900 Nexus 2!!! It's a great start on the way to CDJ's. As for this dance, the school requested we build a haunted house and since I had no idea how I was going to make it, I say YES!
